From January to July, the national textile and apparel export increased by 12.7%

From January to July, the country’s textile and apparel exports maintained a steady growth, with an export value of US$154.9 billion, an increase of 12.7%.

Among all provinces and cities, Zhejiang ranks first, with steady export growth, with an export value of 37.4 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 11.9%. This year, the export situation of textiles and clothing to the European Union and Japan was relatively sluggish, but Zhejiang’s exports to the EU, the United States, and Japan both maintained growth, and the growth was relatively even, with an increase of between 5% and 6.7%. The export volume of Zhejiang's private enterprises accounted for more than 70% of the province's total exports, an increase of 18.9%, and the export of state-owned and foreign-funded enterprises declined slightly, falling by 1% to 3%.
